The shape of tradition. Sicilian wheat, bronze-drawn to hold every sauce.

From the Landof Sicily
Busiata Trapanese is one of western Sicily's signature pasta shapes. Made with 100% Sicilian durum wheat semolina and water, its distinctive twist and bronze-drawn texture help it hold pestos, tomato sauces and other dressings.
- A shape that works with the sauce. The spirals catch the dressing: choose pesto or sauces that coat the pasta and settle into its curves.
- Save a little cooking water. Before draining, set some water aside to add gradually as you toss the pasta with its sauce.
- Pay attention to the cooking point. Follow the pack instructions and taste before draining, especially if you plan to finish the dish in a pan.
